Music by Igor Stravinsky forms the backbone of this project, drawing on some of the most powerful and characteristic passages from Le Sacre du Printemps, Apollon Musagète, Symphony in C, and Symphony of Psalms. 

The selected material is newly orchestrated and carefully adapted for youth orchestra, preserving the architectural strength and expressive precision of the originals while making them playable and meaningful for young musicians. In addition, newly composed sections are woven into the score, developed directly from Stravinsky’s harmonic, rhythmic, and textural vocabulary. Rather than standing apart, this new music grows organically out of the existing material.
