This is piece was inspired by the Romantic idea of 'Bildung'. How do we transform in this life, how do interactions with others and how do events change us?

'Music for Clarinet and Piano' is dedicated to Sven Van De Voorde.  Sven and Mathias performed the piece for the first time on August 4, 2017 as faculty members of LabSummerClass in Bari (Italy).
